- Who are your suppliers?
- All of our organic ice creams and sorbets come from Marshfield Farm in Devon.Our organic and gluten free cones are made by Antonelli.
- What food safety training do you have?
All of our staff have received Level 2 food safety training as laid out by the FSA (Food Standards Agency).
- How do I pay?
You can pay by cash, cheque, and via Paypal (details on request) or BACS transfer.
- Where do I find out dietary & allergy information on your products?
These are available on our supplier’s websites and on request.
- What is your booking policy?
A contract will be sent out to you to date and sign and a £50 deposit (non-refundable) is required to secure the booking for your event. The balance outstanding for the event MUST be paid 8 weeks in advance of the actual event.
If the event booked is within the 8 week period then the full balance must be paid at the time of booking.The table below explains our policy for cancellation charges:Within 8 weeks prior to event 20% of total order valueWithin 6 weeks prior to event 40% of total order valueWithin 4 weeks prior to event 60% of total order valueWithin 2 weeks prior to event 80% of total order valueWithin 1 week prior to event 100% of total order valueIf the cancellation is made less than 7 days before the event, unfortunately the entire fee will be due. This is because it is highly unlikely that another booking would be received at such short notice.
- Where do you cover?
The whole of South East England. There is a small surcharge for events over 1 hour travelling time from our base near Crystal Palace to cover additional expenses and time.
- Are you insured?
Yes, we are fully insured, with public and employee liability insurance up to £10 million
- How many can you cater for?
Lucky Cow can currently cater for up to 500 guests for a two hour period (with both trikes deployed). If you would like to book us for a larger number we should be able to cater for up to 750, with sufficient notice (8 weeks)
- What events do you attend?
Our Pashley trikes are able to attend anywhere and everywhere, including weddings, corporate events, music festivals, Summer fetes, food markets…the list is endless. This is because we use rechargeable freezers that are not reliant on an external power source and keep the ice cream at the perfect temperature for up to 11 hours.
